What a view!

You know, when it comes to scenery, the Red River valley isn't up there with California or Colorado on the list of "must see" places and earthbound panorama. Our good fortune lies within our unobstructed view of the wonderous sky. We have a front row seat to the glorious interactions between cloud and sun, moon and star.

Afterall, the storm clouds of spring can achieve heights nearly double that of Everest.

I surely agree.

When crossing the Red River into Texas the old song Red River Valley
comes to my mind.

I remember in the 40's Gene Autry
sang it in a movie. It is a a pretty song with lovely lyrics.
